Dallas MMA fighter, Ivan "J.P." Cole, dies after shooting

DALLAS - Dallas Police are investigating the unexplained shooting death of 25-year-old MMA fighter, Ivan "J.P." Cole.

According to police they received a call of a shooting Saturday morning at 7:31 a.m. in the 13700 block of Montfort Drive. Officers found Cole dead in an apartment of an apparent gunshot.

Cole's death is currently classified as unexplained pending results from his autopsy.
