Getting the perfect lip look without annoying touchups throughout the day is what ‘No Smudge Lip Stain” promises to do. Consumer Reporter Steve Noviello put it to the Deal or Dud test.
For wedding hairstylist Brook Himes, keeping on trend keeps her in business. And when it comes to a worry-free wedding, perfectly stained lips are lighting up social media.
Fans took to Facebook to show off what they're peeling off. It's the latest in lip stain that's guaranteed not to kiss off.
“What a really great idea for my brides because nothing is worse than going to kiss your man and say I do, and it gets all over him,” Himes said.
A stain that sticks around also means no touch ups and no worries about where to the bride should stash her supply.
The manufacturer recommends a lip brush for crisp lines. The stain will go on darker than the final color, which is revealed after a ten-minute dry time. The top layer of lip stain gets peeled away. What's left doesn't blot off or even rub off. It begs the question, Can it come off? A little makeup remover worked like a charm
“It's Smudge Free Lip Stain: Deal or Dud?” Noviello asked.
“I'd say Deal,” Brittany said, who is getting married soon. “It didn't smudge, and it was actually kind of moisturizing. It didn't dry out like most stains do.”
The No Smudge Lip Stain sells a set of six colors for $20. More information on the lipstick can be found here.
