Police say a possible panic attack led to a car crashing to an apartment and bursting into flames Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. at the Las Mariposas Apartments in East Fort Worth.

Police say a couple inside the vehicle was having an argument when the woman turned into the apartment and started having a panic attack. When the woman tried to drive around a curve, she plowed through a fence and into the building. A fire started when she tried to restart the car.

"My neighbors were saying come out because the house is on fire, so I just came out,” said resident Hattie Darty.

No one was seriously injured in the car crash or in the apartment building.

Red Cross is assisting people who were displaced because of the crash.
