Body found during Sunday morning grass fire in Euless

Euless police are investigating after a body was found in a field during a grass fire.

Police say firefighters found the body in a wooded area near Highway 360 and Harwood, around 11:30 Sunday morning. People who live right across the street say they've watched all day long as investigators try to figure out who's body it was and how it got there.

"It's pretty scary to have something like this happen around here. Normally you hear about it on the news but never around where you live" said Johnathan Aguilar.

Investigators finished processing the scene around 3:30 P.M. Police say they don't plan to release any more information until after the medical examiner finishes its report.
