Beloved father killed in Fort Worth hit-and-run

A family wants answers after a father of three was killed in a hit-and-run in Fort Worth.

Police say 55-year old Ronald “Bo” Harrison was walking along South Freeway near Allen Avenue last Wednesday when he was struck and the driver took off.

Julie Williams is already missing her younger brother, Bo Harrison.

“Everybody liked Bo,” she said. “He was outgoing never met a stranger.”

Harrison was walking on South Freeway around 5 a.m. last Wednesday when Fort Worth police say a car hit and killed him.

“It was a hit and run, and they’re still investigating,” Williams said.

That’s all Williams and her siblings know about what happened. Investigators do not have a description of the vehicle.

“Maybe the car will be damaged or maybe somebody heard somebody talking about it,” Williams said.

Williams and her siblings believe he was walking to get donuts. He lived less than a mile away and worked at a nearby car lot.

Williams says, more than anything, Harrison’s three daughters need answers.

“Closure for our family and his girls, his sisters and brothers,” she said “So we just pray that God continues to strengthen us. We are not angry at whomever did this, but we have faith that God will bring closure.”

Williams says investigators told her that her brother was hit with great force so the vehicle that hit him likely does have damage.
