Armed men terrorize Arlington family

Two people were hurt in a home invasion in west Arlington late Sunday night.

Police said a group of armed men forced their way into a family's apartment at the Woodland Apartments, which is near South Bowen Road and West Park Row.

A woman who lived there told FOX 4 she has no idea who the men were.

She said they held a gun to her crying 4-month-old daughter's head and threatened to kill everyone inside.

"I grabbed my daughter and I went and hid in the closet and covered us up. But she was crying so loud because she knew something was going," she said.

The distraught woman said she could hear gunfire and couldn't help thinking that they had killed her boyfriend and brother.

The woman's boyfriend was shot in the leg and her brother was pistol whipped, but both are expected to be okay.

There were also able to fight back and may have shot one of the fleeing suspects.

Police said a gunshot victim was dropped off at a Fort Worth hospital. They are trying to determine if he is connected to the case.
