Arlington police seek suspect in hit-and-run that injured woman

Arlington police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who nearly killed a grandmother on her way to work Sunday morning.

As Bernadine Ingram was heading to work Sunday morning, she was rear-ended at a high speed while going northbound on Hwy. 360 in Arlington.

Police say she spun off the freeway and then flipped over several times. She had to crawl out through her car's shattered back window.

Ingram said she's thankful that the most severe of her injuries are some bumps and bruises and a concussion.

She hopes that the public will help in finding whoever is responsible.

Police said the suspect was driving a white 2005 Lincoln Navigator that has damage to its front. The first three letters of its license plate are reportedly "D-R-M."
