Arlington police searching for suspect in fatal hit-and-run

Arlington police are looking for the person who hit and killed a visually impaired man who was crossing the street in Arlington late Saturday night.

The victim was trying to cross Park Row Drive near Browning Drive. He was hit by a small light-colored sedan. Witnesses said the car took off with a broken front windshield.

Police described the victim as a man in his late 50s who was 80 percent visually impaired and walked with a cane. His name has not yet been released.

The case is just one of several unsolved hit-and-run cases in the city.
