Arlington PD search for man who burglarized home in broad daylight

Arlington police are looking for the man who broke into a home and stole hundreds of dollars worth of electronics.

Police say the man parked in front of the home in West Arlington in the middle of the day in October and stuffed his car with everything he could get his hands on.

Investigators have already gotten some pretty good leads after posting some of the pictures on social media sites. They’re hoping by releasing video of the suspect, someone might know exactly who they're looking for.

Police say the bold burglar parked right in front and walked into the back of the home, broke in and helped himself to a 55-inch TV, shoes, clothing and more. Investigators hope someone recognizes him and call police.

“African-American male, distinctive hairstyle. And you can see he's a pretty big guy, walking out with a large TV,” explained Arlington PD Sgt. Vanessa Harrison.

Another very distinctive clue investigator say is the late model four-door sedan with custom rims.

"We really want to catch this guy,” Harrison said. “He was pretty bold to go into this person is home and in the middle of the day and take those items."

Investigators say because the suspect was so calm, confident and bold, they are looking into the possibility that he may have committed other similar offenses in the surrounding area.
