Missing Central Texas girl found safe after Amber Alert

A girl from Central Texas near Killeen was found safe after a statewide Amber Alert.

The Texas Amber Alert Network issued the Child Abduction Alert for the 7-year-old Zoey Rogers just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Rogers disappeared in Harker Heights, Texas, which is in Bell County about 150 miles southwest of Dallas.

Police said the girl’s mother does not have custody of her and took her. Her mother, 36-year-old Bobbi White, and her mother’s boyfriend, 34-year-old Tutankhamun, were arrested in Alabama.

They are now charged with interfering with child custody.
