Amazon building fulfillment center in Forney
FORNEY, Texas - Amazon is planning to open a new fulfillment center in Forney, east of Dallas.
The 1 million-square-foot space will open next year. It's expected to create more than 500 new full-time jobs.
Amazon will also build a new 200,000-square-foot delivery station in Forney, which prepares packages for the last leg of the delivery.
That's expected to open later this year.
