AISD Back to School Kickoff
Arlington - Thousands of Arlington ISD students got backpacks filled with school supplies Saturday morning at AT&T Stadium.
The AISD Back to School Kickoff included vision checks, an immunization station, after school program information and workshops for parents.
To be eligible, students must qualify for the free or reduced-price meal program.
Individuals and businesses made donations to fund the program. $20 provided on backpack with supplies for the whole year.
Dallas Cowboys mascot Rowdy, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and former Dallas Cowboys players were also there.
