FORT WORTH, Texas - Parents in Tarrant County have a one-stop shop for school supplies at the Back to School Roundup.
Thousands of families began lining up in the rain outside the Will Rogers Memorial Center for the event Thursday morning.
Before the day is over, the county expects to hand out free school supplies to about 10,000 low-income students. The students can also get health screenings, immunizations, haircuts and more.
"This event really is a game changer for thousands of Tarrant County families," said Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley.
