Several Dallas ISD students and even some school district employees could face disciplinary action for a parking lot fight at Balch Springs Middle School.
The fight happened in late January, but the district said it was unaware of the altercation until someone posted it online and media outlets started asking questions.
The video is about two minutes long and it's hard to see all of the action because the camera keeps moving around. In parts of the video you can see a few adults.
A Dallas ISD spokesman said the adults were DISD employees, although he declined to say in what capacity they worked for the district.
Officials are investigating why staff members failed to make the district aware of the incident.
A letter sent home to parents said, in part: "Today we learned of a video posted on YouTube that shows our students fighting nearly one month ago during a gathering after school. This video has since been removed. We are reviewing this event and any students who participated in this altercation may be disciplined according to the student code of conduct."
