Dallas county sheriff's deputies arrested a driver who led authorities on a chase that started in Kaufman County.
Around 1:30 Saturday morning, Terrell police tried to pull over the driver of a minivan along Highway 80. The driver didn't stop. The chase continued through Forney and on to Dallas.
Speeds reached 80 miles per hour.
Dallas County sheriff’s deputies deployed spike strips and the minivan eventually stopped in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas.
The man tried to run away but he was captured at Chariot Drive and South Buckner Boulevard.
A woman who was in the mini-van during the chase was also taken into custody.
