Hamilton left the Rangers at the end of the 2012 season and signed a five-year, $125 million contract with the division rival Los Angeles Angels.
USWeekly reports Katie Hamilton won't be the only addition with baseball ties to the Bravo TV series cast. The wife of Fox Sports announcer Jim Edmonds will also reportedly join the cast.
Katie Hamilton isn't exactly popular with Rangers fans. She infamously told reporters that the Rangers "should have put a ring on it" by inking a deal when Josh Hamilton's deal was up after 2012.
"My take on it was that we were with them for five years and if you're going to date somebody and that's going to be your man or your woman, you make it official and you make it known pretty quick or at some point that you want to be with them," Katie Hamilton said in Dec. 2012. "They let us date other teams. Josh said he'd give them the first chance, and they didn't take him up on that. They let us go out and date people and kind of give our hearts away."
A few months later Katie Hamilton claimed Rangers fans were abusing her and the Hamilton family so badly she felt forced to call security at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington during the opener of the 2013 season. It was the first game in Texas after Josh Hamilton had left the team.
Season ten of the reality series will air later this year on Bravo.
