After a very cold start, we'll only bounce into the mid-upper 30s as winds turn to the south. The PM breeze will be COLD!
Another front drives in tonight to reinforce the cold air. That will also help push MOST precip Fri AM-midday into our southern counties ONLY. There may be some sleet mix (few rain drops, flakes) although impacts look low.
Friday night is again cold and dry into Sat AM. It now looks like NEXT push of precip starts Sat PM (from the south) and spreads in rapidly Sat night into Sunday.
Initially, the dry air may support some sleet and the cold air lingering may also produce some freezing rain Sat night (esp DFW north) although it will likely end up as a very cold rain again Sunday.
Some drizzle may linger Mon AM, but next week looks to stay chilly with another chance for some rain Tue PM-night.
