Two people are already waiting in line at a Cedar Hill Best Buy for the store’s Black Friday deals.
The tents are lined up along the sidewalk in front of the store in anticipation of being the first inside at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
One of the shoppers in line is a sophomore in high school and is waiting in line for his family while they work.
“It's the opportunity, you know- I like camping out. It's all about the feeling that you're out here waiting in line for something you just can't wait to get,” sophomore Daniel Osorio said.
The other person waiting in line rotates with other family members and said it's a tag-team holiday tradition.
“We do it every year, fourth year we've done it,” said Meagan Estrada. “If he needs a break, I’ll come give him a break. Thanksgiving Day I’ll come bring him a plate and sit out here with him and spend Thanksgiving out here.”
Both campers said they're looking to buy TVs and tablets.
