Two teens are in trouble with the law after two separate school threats in North Texas on Tuesday.
A tweet sent Tuesday morning said there would be a shooting at noon at Bowie High School.
Police say 17-year-old Shalaria Jones is charged with making a terroristic threat. Investigators say they got a search warrant for her phone, and that's how they linked her to the tweet.
A second student questioned by Arlington police is not currently facing charges.
DeSoto police arrested a 16-year-old who is accused of making threats on social media against DeSoto High School. Police did not release the nature of Tuesday’s threat.
The teen was taken into custody by DeSoto police on Wednesday morning on a weapons charge.
