DALLAS - Two people got away from Dallas County sheriff’s deputies after a chase in a stolen pickup truck.
The high-speed pursuit began around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday after deputies spotted the Ford F150 going southbound on Highway 175 with no lights on.
Deputies ran the plates and tried to pull the truck over, but the driver took off. The chase went through southeast Dallas and reached speeds of up to 110 miles per hour.
It ended after deputies flattened the truck’s tires with spike strips near Interstate 20 and St. Augustine Road.
The two suspects jumped out of the truck and ran. A Dallas police helicopter helped with the search, but the suspects were never located.
