The problem is, she doesn't know who the other mom is and she's asking for help finding her.
Kristyn Posey is working to find the other mom who she says saved her 14-year-old son's life after he wrecked his bike. Her son, Hunter, was riding on a sidewalk along Renfro in Burleson around 8 p.m. Monday.
Where the sidewalk ends is where it happened.
"Thirteen stitches and almost a skull fracture and my knee is a little banged up, and I have a bunch of rib bruises all right here from my handle bars," said Hunter.
When he came to, he saw a van coming toward him.
The driver stopped, helped Hunter inside the van and told him she was taking him to the hospital.
"She told me a lot about herself," said Hunter. "She introduced me to her children but other than that I just can't remember much of it."
When Kristyn got the call, she met Hunter and the other mom at Cook Children's Medical Center. In the flurry of seeing her son's injuries, she only said a brief thank you to the woman.
Now, Hunter and his family want to thank her.
"I'd give her a big hug and thank her," said Hunter. "I couldn't…words couldn't really explain how I felt that night whenever she picked me up, just, God placed her there for me."
