2 shot outside Dallas strip mall

DALLAS - One person was shot and killed outside a strip mall early Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. near businesses at the intersection of Centerville and Jupiter roads. One person died at the scene and another was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Investigators seemed to be focused on a cellphone store in the strip mall. The parking lot is blocked off and the entrance is surrounded with crime scene tape.

However, police have not yet released any information about what happened or who may be responsible.

There’s no word on any arrests.
