DALLAS - Former president Bill Clinton will be in Dallas Thursday for a private fundraiser for his wife’s presidential campaign.
Mr. Clinton campaigned in Atlanta Wednesday. He spent part of his time defending the work of his family’s foundation.
Republicans accused Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton of using her position as the Secretary of State to raise money for the foundation.
The former president disagrees.
“I’m really proud of what we did and nothing that’s been said in the last few days has done anything to dampen it,” he said.
Mr. Clinton said he will step down from his role at the foundation if his wife is elected president.
