American Heart Association walk draws large crowds in three cities

Tens of thousands of people went to downtown Dallas, downtown Fort Worth and Denton for the American Heart Association's Heart Walks.

The walks are the Heart Association's signature fundraiser of the year. It is estimated up to 80,000 people participated in the events. It was free to register, but each team raised money ahead of the walk. The goal was to raise six million dollars.
