Fort Worth police chase ends at Grand Prairie store

A man led police on a chase from Fort Worth to Grand Prairie late Thursday night.

Fort Worth officers tried to pull the man's truck over around 11 p.m. near Highway 121 and Beach Street.

Two other people hopped out and he took off.

Officers chased the truck into Dallas and then to Grand Prairie.

It got stuck on the rail road tracks at the intersection of Jefferson and Highway 161.

The driver tried to run into a nearby gas station, but was quickly caught.

Police charged him with felony evading arrest and a parole violation.

They are still trying to determine why he fled.
