An official says what is believed to have been a tornado caused limited damage near the North Texas town of Denton.
Jody Gonzalez, chief of Denton County Emergency Services, says the storm moved through the area so fast Sunday afternoon that it caused "very limited damage." He says some signs were blown over and some trees damaged.
National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Bradshaw says they believe a tornado touched down near the town located about 40 miles northwest of Dallas.
Television footage showed portions of some industrial roofs ripped off.
Gonzalez says that as the rains continue, they've performed multiple water rescues from streets and homes in the nearby town of Krum.
One person was killed Saturday after a tornado hit Cisco, located about 100 miles west of Fort Worth.
