Wet roads lead to early morning wrecks

The wet roads caused a number of accidents in North Texas early Thursday morning.

Interstate 35 near the Highway 67 merge was shut down after a crash involving an 18-wheeler.

The truck jackknifed and ended up on its side, spilling out fuel.

It also pinned an SUV against the median wall. Fortunately the person inside was not hurt.

Flooding shut down part of Highway 75 in McKinney.

Both the north and southbound lanes of the highway near Virginia Parkway were under water, causing two accidents.

Crews actually brought in equipment to pump the water into nearby construction zones.

Big puddles also caused problems and two more accidents on the Dallas North Tollway.

The drivers hit the water, lost control and then crashed into the median walls.

In Saginaw, four people were hurt in a single-car accident.

Three of the four people in the car were ejected and two were flown to the hospital in critical condition.
