Witnesses: Man shot dead in Fort Worth following argument over sunglasses

A man was found dead after a shooting in Fort Worth on Friday morning.

Police say 32-year-old Ronald Wyatt was found dead inside a vehicle in the 1400 block of Stafford Drive with gunshot wounds. Police were called to the scene after neighbors heard shots fired about 10:15 a.m.

Police only would say that Wyatt died as the result of an argument.

Witnesses say it was over Versace sunglasses that Wyatt bought from the shooter and then claimed were fake.

Neighbors say that when Wyatt came to confront the man, Wyatt apparently pulled a gun, which jammed.

The shooter allegedly then pulled his shotgun and opened fire.

"He told me that the guy said the glasses wasn't real, but they know they were," said Lenor Washington, who lives nearby.

Witnesses say the shooter was taken into custody and was saying he fired in self-defense.

Police have confirmed that they are questioning him, but have not yet arrested or charged him.
