Plane crashes near TX-OK border, injuring 4

Four people were injured when a plane crashed in Gordonville, Texas Sunday afternoon.

FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford says a Beechcraft B35 aircraft hit a house's roof before crashing in the yard. DPS officials clarify that the engine of the plane had separated and fell into the roof of the unoccupied home.

Officials say the pilot and three others, including two children, were transported to the Texoma Medical Center in Dennison with various injuries. There were no injuries to people on the ground.

The flight plan says the plane took off from Tyler Pounds Regional Airport at 12:23 p.m. and was set to land at Cedar Mills Airport at 1:17 p.m.

DPS officials say the crash occurred as a result of engine and propeller problems.
