Fort Worth Police looking for serial robbers

Fort Worth Police are searching for a trio of robbers suspected of at least six thefts.

Surveillance footage from the Nashville Food Mart shows the thieves hit about 10 p.m. on May 16, jumping over the counter before taking off.

Police say the group has robbed several convenience stores around Fort Worth since late April. In one case, a shot was fired, but it did not hit anyone.

The latest robbery occurred Friday, at a Shell station in the 400 block of University Drive in Fort Worth. Police say the surveillance video of the Shell robbery shows the men enter quickly, clean out the cash register and leave.

Video from other robberies shows that at least two men go inside the store. Police say at least one robber is armed with a semi-automatic pistol. One robber usually wears a black hoodie. All cover their faces and wear gloves.

“They just pointed it (the gun) at me like that, don't move give me all what you have,” said one robbery victim who asked that his face not be shown. "I don't know if I’m going to die or live that time.”

One store owner says he believes the same armed robbers hit his shop twice in two weeks.

Police say the suspects always strike sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
