Trapped person rescued from flipped SUV in Irving

Rescuers rushed to help four people in an SUV that plunged off of Hwy. 114 near Belt Line Road in Irving on Friday.

Police say the SUV crashed through a guardrail and landed upside down in about four feet of water.

One person was trapped, and police say a Good Samaritan held the victim's head above water until officers could help.

Everyone in the SUV was taken to a nearby hospital, and one person had serious injuries.
