2.4-magnitude quake hits North Texas

Another earthquake struck North Texas on Wednesday night.

The USGS says a 2.4 magnitude earthquake hit near Farmers Branch shortly before 9 p.m.

The epicenter was just north of where a long series of quakes has been hitting in Irving.

The last earthquake to hit the area happened early Sunday morning near the old Texas Stadium site.
