Teachers spend spring break rallying in Austin

Texas public school teachers want their voices heard. They're heading to Austin and will be hard to miss.

Thousands of teachers boarded buses Monday on the first day of spring break. When they get to the state capitol they will talk to lawmakers about education issues.

The day of rallies was organized by the American Federation of Teachers.

The group is asking for better pay, smaller class sizes and more affordable health care.
