A woman died Sunday morning in a crash involving a Greyhound bus and at least one other vehicle.

The crash happened at 5:35 a.m. on I-30 in Arlington, said Greyhound spokesperson, Lenisha Gibson.

There were 40 passengers and one driver on the bus, which was traveling from Dallas to Amarillo, Gibson said.

One person is critically injured, and several others are being treated for injuries, according to Medstar.

The woman who died was not on the bus. She was in another vehicle when the crash happened, Gibson said.

The westbound lanes of I-30 were still closed as of 8:30 a.m. Sunday for the cleanup and investigation.

Greyhound is taking the rest of the passengers to Amarillo. Greyhound will conduct its own investigation in addition to helping Arlington police, Gibson said.
