1 dead, 3 hurt in Dallas motel shooting

One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting at a northeast Dallas motel.

There were at least two gunmen according to what witnesses told Dallas police. They shot two men and two women in a second floor room of the Motel 6 near the LBJ Freeway and Plano Road.

One of the men died. The others are expected to survive.

A man matching the description of one of the gunmen is in custody. The other man is still at large.

Police said they believe the motive was robbery was the motive. They’re investigating whether or not the victims knew their attackers and said the case may be tied to sex trafficking.
