Missing dog reunited with owner after carjacking

A dog and her owner shared a happy reunion in Fort Worth on Saturday thanks to a family of good samaritans.

Last Sunday, 71-year-old Pam Wilson's car was stolen with her dog "Pinkie" inside.

The suspect was arrested and the car was returned, but Wilson's dog was still missing.

Police said the suspect who stole the car pushed Pinkie out near an elementary school on Palmetto Street.

Melissa Romero said her uncle witnessed a suspect push a dog out of the car in the same area.

Romero also saw a missing dog flier with Pinkie's picture at a Dollar General around that time, and informed Fort Worth police.

The two were reunited Saturday afternoon.
