Jon Alexis from TJ's Seafood and the new Malibu Poke restaurant shows you how to make a vegan poke bowl at home.
Vegan Poke Bowl
6 oz - cooked cauliflower "rice"
1/2 oz - edamae, cooked & shelled
1 oz - orange supremes
1/4 oz - fresh basil, chopped
1.5oz - ponzu sauce
1/2 oz - radish, cut into thin "wheels"
1 oz - avocado, diced
1/2 oz - serrano pepper, cut into thin "wheels"
1/2 oz - micro herb
1 oz - macadamia nuts, crushed
Pulse whole cauliflower until it looks like rice. Saute or steam 5-8 min until tender. Season with salt & pepper. Set aside.
Put room temp cauliflower rice in bottom of bowl. Combine edamame, orange, basil and ponzu sauce in bowl, mix and mount on top of "rice."
Place all additional items on top and serve.
