3 SMOOTHIE RECIPES from Erin McKool of Start

 
The Sunrise Smoothie Recipe
Yield: 20 ounces

Ingredients:
Orange Juice: 3/4 Cup
Frozen Peaches: 1 Cup
Frozen Bananas: 1/2 Cup
Raw Slivered Almonds: 1 heaping Tablespoon
Coconut Water: 1/2 Cup
Honey (optional): 1Tablespoon

Directions:
Pour orange juice and coconut water into a blender. Add peaches, bananas and almonds. Drizzle the top with honey. Blend on low for 15 seconds then increase speed to high for 45 seconds. If still chunky, stir with wooden spoon and blend on high for another 15 seconds.

 

Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie
Yields one 20 oz smoothie

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Pomegranate Juice
1/2 cup Organic Vanilla Yogurt (Or plain Greek, if preferred)
3/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
1 cup Frozen Banana Slices

Directions:
Pour pomegranate juice and yogurt into a blender. Add blueberries and bananas. Blend on low for 15 seconds then increase speed to high for 45 seconds. If still chunky, stir with wooden spoon and blend on high for another 15 seconds.


Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie
Yields one 20 oz smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup Organic Vanilla Yogurt
1-2 Tablespoons Honey (according to desired sweetness)
2 heaping Tablespoons Peanut Butter
1 1/2 cups Frozen Banana Slices
1/2 cup Ice Cubes

Directions:
Pour yogurt and honey into a blender. Add peanut butter, bananas, and ice. Blend on low for 15 seconds then increase speed to high for 45 seconds. If still chunky, stir with wooden spoon and blend on high for another 15 seconds.
* If desired, you can add 1-2 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup to make a chocolate peanut butter smoothie!
