Oven Pork Ribs

Hutchins BBQ co-owner and pitmaster Dustin Blackwell returns to Good Day to make seasoned pork ribs. He's promoting Texas Monthly's annual BBQ Fest Sunday in Austin.

Oven Pork Ribs

Combine all the following ingredients:
    1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Cracked Black Pepper (Medium Grind)
    1/2 Cup of Paprika
    1/2 Cup of Kosher Salt
    1/4 Chili Powder

Rub the ribs all over with the spice mixture and place it in a large roasting pan. Set your oven at 240 degrees. Once your oven reaches 240 degrees let it cook for about 5 hours (depending on the tenderness of the meat).

After 2.5 hours of cooking, rotate the pan and flip the ribs. Remove the ribs from the oven and let rest 5 minutes. Lightly brush the rib with a sweet BBQ glaze or your favorite BBQ sauce.

Slice and serve!
