Homemade Granola

Chef Tom Fleming from Crossroads Diner returns to Good Day to share the recipe for a grab and go breakfast.

Homemade Granola

½ rolled oats
1 ¼ cups pecans
¾ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 cup maple syrup
½ cup honey
¼ cup canola oil
1 ½ cup dried cherries
1 ½ cup golden raisins
Pinch salt
1 orange zest

Reserve dried cherries and raisins in separate container until the end take remaining ingredients and combine in large bowl. Completely mix and place on non-stick cookie sheets.

Bake in oven at 325 degree.  You must stir mixture at least every 5-10 minutes until crispy.

Allow to cool and mix in cherries and raisins. Serve with Greek-style yogurt and fresh fruit.
