Puff pastry dough 1 piece, each piece 4 x 2 in size
Fresh egg 1 each

Method

In a sauce pan, mix 1 cup of water, cinnamon, and sugar, then bring to a boil.

Take sliced apples and put them in the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on low heat.

Take ½ cup of water and mix with corn starch, make sure that the corn starch is fully dissolved. Add corn starch mixture to the pot, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute.

Remove apple mixture from the fire and set aside to cool.

Take pastry dough and cut into 8 pieces, 4 x 2 in size, lay pieces on a baking pan and set aside.

Take the egg and whisk lightly with a fork, then add 1 tbsp. of water. Brush egg wash around the edges of the pastry dough.

Add apple mixture to the pastry dough leaving space around the edges; take another piece of pastry dough to cover the mixture, and press all around the edges of the pastry to seal.
