Chef Kenny Bowers shares the recipe for white queso that you can make at home.
Bud's White Queso
2-1/2 lbs white American cheese
2 cups milk (whole)
2 cups onions, yellow (sliced in paper-thin strips)
1 cup cilantro (chopped, stemless (1/2 bunch)
1/2 cup pickled jalapenos (finely chopped)
1 tbs + 1/4 tsp cumin
Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave, stirring occasionally until everything is incorporated and hot. Or, place all ingredients in a Crockpot stirring occasionally and heat that way.
