Pulled Pork for Tostadas

Pulled Pork from Kenny's Smoke House

Quantity

1 ea. 3-4 lbs.
 

Ingredients

Boneless pork butt or shoulder  

2 TBS salt and black pepper (50/50 mix)

1/3 cup water

1 cup favorite BBQ sauce


Preparation

Rub salt and pepper mix and sugar all over pork butts.   

Place pork fat side up in crockpot, cover with sauce and water. Place cover on crockpot and cook at 275 degrees for approximately 5 hours until fork tender.

 

OR

 

Follow the same procedure, except place pork in oven safe dish or foil tin and tightly cover with foil and cook at the same temp. and same time in the oven.

Note:  additional water may need to be added during cooking process.
