California Fields Salad

Rachel Salinas from the California Pizza Kitchen at Willow Bend in Dallas stops by Good Day to talk about some changes to the menu. She makes a delicious summer salad.


California Fields Summer Salad

3 cups  Watermelon, 1" Cubes
1 ½ cups  Strawberries, ½" Sliced
5 cups  Field Greens
¼ cup   Fresh Basil, Sliced
2 fl oz   Champagne Vinaigrette*
¼ cup   Feta, Crumbled
2 Tbl     Pistachios, ¼" Chopped

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, except for the garnish. Arrange salad in a chilled serving bowl. Sprinkle the feta and pistachios evenly over the top of the salad. Enjoy!

*Use your favorite store bought Champagne Vinaigrette
