'Pure Country' musical opens in Irving

Country star George Straight's fans remember the 90s movie that helped make him so famous -- Pure Country. Some of the same people are behind a new musical that opens Friday at the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall. The show runs through June 18.
