But consumer reporter Steve Noviello says you should never ask your AI assistant to look up and then dial a number. It's official: Uber to open new corporate hub in Dallas
Uber will open a brand new office in Dallas, officials announced on Tuesday.
The new corporate hub will be the company’s largest outside of its headquarters in San Francisco and eventually have 3,000 workers.
A combination of more than $36 million of incentives will be offered to Uber from the state, Dallas County and the city of Dallas. Dallas County commissioners announced the move just minutes after approving a near $3 million incentive package.Read the full article
Doctors suspect vaping behind dozens of lung illnesses in US
NEW YORK (AP) - As many as 50 people in at least six states have come down with breathing illnesses that may be linked to e-cigarettes or other vaping products.
No deaths have been reported, but at least a few have come close.
Some patients have likened onset of the illness to a heart attack, and others to the flu. Symptoms have included shortness of breath, fatigue, chest pain and vomiting. Doctors say the illnesses resemble an inhalation injury, with the body apparently reacting to a caustic substance that someone breathed in.Read the full article
