QB competitions all the rage in Big 12

The Big 12 entered the offseason with a sting, with both TCU and Baylor shut out of the inaugural College Football Playoff.
A host of young and inexperienced quarterbacks are hoping to help the league regain its momentum.
The search for a new starter has been the talk of spring camp at a number of Big 12 schools. In fact, nearly every school in the conference will head into the summer with either an inexperienced starter or a temporary placeholder atop its depth chart.
