ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Shin-Soo Choo hit a tying three-run homer in the seventh inning and scored the winning run in the 10th to lift the Texas Rangers to an 8-7 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night.

Choo led off the 10th with a double down the right-field line against Ryan Cook (0-2), moved to third following two walks and scored on Rougned Odor's off R.J. Alvarez.

Rookie Keone Kela (1-1) pitched the top of the 10th to earn his first major league win as the Rangers ended a four-game losing streak.

The A's took a 7-3 lead with a six-run seventh inning that included a dead-ball single off second-base umpire Jerry Meals and a two-out, three-run home run by Josh Reddick.

Texas answered with four runs in the bottom of the seventh, including Choo's homer with two out.
