SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Deon Barrett and Antwon Portley combined to knock down six 3-pointers in Lancaster's 69-48 win against El Paso Andress in a Class 5A boys' semifinal at San Antonio's Alamodome.
As a team, Lancaster shot 36.6 percent from the field, including an 8-for-18 showing on 3-point shots.
Barrett finished with a game-high 16 points and Portley added 14 for Lancaster (33-4), which scored the game's first four points and never trailed.
Lancaster's 6-foot-9 center Elijah Thomas added 16 points and 14 rebounds. Fellow 6-foot-9 post Nate Morris added eight rebounds as Lancaster won the rebounding battle 48-37.
Zaccheus Jackson had a team-high 15 points and Alvin Warren added 11 for El Paso Andress (33-2).
Lancaster's lead ballooned off of El Paso Andress' 17 turnovers, which turned into 19 points.
