2 more Blanco River flood victims identified

SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) - Authorities have identified two more victims of last week's catastrophic flooding on the Blanco River in Hays County in Central Texas.

Medical and dental records have been used to identify 34-year-old Laura Schultz McComb and 71-year-old Sue McNeil Carey, both of Corpus Christi.

Their bodies were found Saturday, five days after the rain-swollen river swept away a weekend vacation house their families were sharing in Wimberley.

McComb's 4-year-old daughter remains among the four missing from the county. Her 6-year-old son was recovered and identified earlier.

Carey's 73-year-old husband, Ralph, and 43-year-old daughter, Michelle Charba, also were recovered earlier. Charba's 6-year-old son also is among the missing.

Earlier Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton warned about price gouging and cleanup scams during tours of flood recovery centers in the area.
